Eligibility Criteria for IAF MTS, Cook, LDC, Storekeeper Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Mess Staff – Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable: One year of experience as Waiter from an Organization or Institute.
2. MTS – Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable: One year of experience as Lascar from an Organization or Institute.
3. Cook- Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board and minimum of six months of experience in trade OR Ex-servicemen in similar /akin/field or trade.
4. Lower Division Clerk – 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university, (ii) A Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English on manual typewriter OR A typing steed of 30 words per minutes in English on Computer (35 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour on an Average of 5 key depressions for each word).
5. Storekeeper – 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university. Desirable: Experience in handling Store andn keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in Public or Private Sector.
6. Superintendent (Store) – Graduate of recognized University or equivalent. Desirable:-Experience in handling Stores and keeping Accounts in a store of a concern of repute in Public or Private Sector.
7. Safaiwala – Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
8. Painter -I ndustrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate / akin field or trade viz Painter OR Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade, viz, Painter.
9. Stenographer Gr.II – 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university, (ii) Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 Mts & 80 w.p.m. Transcription: 65 mts (Eng)/75 mts (Hindi). (On Manual Typewriter) or 50 mts (Eng)/65 mts (Hindi) (On computer)
10. MTD (Ordinary Grade) – (i) Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized university /Board. (ii) Must be holding a valid civil driving license for light and heavy vehicle, (iii) Must possess -professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism (iv) Minimum two year experience in driving motor vehicles.
11. Carpenter – lndustrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate / akin field or trade viz Carpenter OR Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade, viz, Carpenter.
12. Vulcaniser – Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. OR Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should minimum of 18 years and maximum of 25 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
