The Reserve Bank of India conducts The RBI Exam annually to recruit personnel to the RBI Assistant’s post. This online exam is similar to the IBPS common exam for PO & Clerical posts. RBI notification for the recruitment of Assistant is likely to be released in May/ June 2017 and the online registrations are likely to close in July 2017. The first step of this 3 step RBI Assistant Exam 2017 is the Preliminary Exam. This one hour, 100 marks paper is divided into 3 sections, namely:

- Reasoning Ability – 35 questions weighing 35 marks
Selected candidates will be invited to attend the Main Exam, which is two hours long and weighs 200 marks.
