1. Deputy Controller of Explosives -Degree in Chemical Engineering / Technology from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Scientific Officer (Electrical) -Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Degree in Electronics andTelecommunication Engineering from a recognised University or Institute and
3. Junior Technical Officer -Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Telecommunication / Civil / Marine / Naval Architecture / Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. “Interpretation of “Equivalent” here means any Technical Institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC and not to be considered as educational qualification”
4. Specialist Grade III (Cardiology) -A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

12. Assistant Director (Physical Education) -Master’s Degree in Physical Education with 55% marks OR Master’s Degree in Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. 2) Record of having represented the University/ College at the Inter-University/ Inter-College competitions or the State and/ or National Championships. 3) Passed in the National Eligibility Test (NET) OR SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment as University Assistant Director of Physical Education/ College Director of Physical Education and Sports. 4) Passed thephysical fitness test conducted in accordance with the norms specified under Note. 3.

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 35 Years. Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

(a) obtained a Degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or

(b) passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or

(c) obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or

(d) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or

(e) passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or

(f) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959 Provided that a candidate for the post of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Indian Radio Regulatory Service Gr ‘A’ may possess any of the above qualifications or the qualification mentioned below namely:‐

For Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engg. Posts) ‐ M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.

For Indian Radio Regulatory Service – M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject or Master’s Degree in Science with Physics and Radio Communication or Electronics or Telecommunication as a special subject.

Age Limit: (As on 01.08.2018)

A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1stAugust, 2018 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2ndAugust, 1988 and not later than 1st August, 1997..
