This online application will be available in their official website https://ssc.nic.in/ from 05.02.2021 to 21.03.2021 (23:30). <p><strong>SSC MTS (Multi Tasking Staff) Exam Details:</strong></p>



<p>The examination consists of both Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) as well as Descriptive Paper (Paper-II).</p>



<p>The dates of examinations has been mentioned in the Notice are tentative. If there is any change that happened in the schedule of examinations that will be informed to candidates only through the official website of the Staff Selection Commission.</p>



<p>There shall be no way for applying re-evaluation/ re-checking of the exam scores that you obtained. No correspondence in this regard shall be allowed.</p>



<p><strong>Exam Pattern for SSC MTS Posts:</strong></p>



<p><strong>Paper-I (Computer Based&nbsp;Examination):</strong></p>

<p>Paper-I will have both objective type questions and multiple choice questions. The questions will be provided in both English &amp; Hindi for Part-II, III &amp; IV.</p>



<p>Negative marking system is been practiced in <a href="https://www.surabooks.com/Books/16953/ssc-multi-tasking-staff-non-technical-exam-books">SSC Multi Tasking Staff Exam</a> and 0.25 marks will be reduced for each wrong answer. Candidates are advised to remind this in mind while answering the questions.</p>



<p>Marks secured by examinee in Paper-I (Computer Based Examination), if the exam conducted in many shifts, will be integrated by using the method formulated by the staff selection commission through Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&amp;P-I dated 07- 02-2019 and such regularized scores will be used to decide final merit and cut-off marks.</p>



<p>Once completed the examination, tentative answer keys for the computer based examination will be published on the website of the commission. Examinees can go through the answer keys and submit online description, if there is anything, within the specific time limit on payment of Rs 100/- per question. Representations collected through any other mode e.g. letter, application, email, etc. will not be allowed. Representations regarding the answer keys will be formulated before finalizing the answer keys and the choice of the staff selection commission in this concern will be final.</p>



<p><strong>Paper-II (Descriptive):</strong></p>

<p>Paper-II will be descriptive type in writing Mode in which the examinees will be required to write a brief essay or letter in English or any language that comprised in the Schedule-VIII of the Constitution.</p>



<p>Paper-II is not much complicated and it is not that hard to qualify and is framed to test basic language skills in view of priority of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements. Anyway, marks secured by the examinees in Paper-II will be used to determine merit in case more than one examinee score equal normalized marks in Paper-I.</p>



<p>Paper-II will be conducted only for those examinees who fulfills the cut-off framed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.</p>



<p>In Paper-II, candidates should write their exact Roll Number at the particular places on the cover page of their answer book. Examinees must also affix signature and Left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed columns in their answer book. Answer Books that doesn&#8217;t contains roll number, left-hand thumb impression and signature will be considered as zero marks.</p>



<p>Examinees are not allowed write any personal identity i.e., name, roll number, mobile number, address, etc. inside the Answer Book (Paper-II). In case of violating&nbsp; these instructions will be considered as Unfair Means (UFM) and such examinees will be rewarded zero marks and their candidature will be rejected.</p>



<p><strong>Syllabus for Computer Based Examination (Paper-I):</strong></p>



<p>Questions based on ‘General Intelligence and Reasoning’ will be non-verbal and considering the functions that attached to the post. Questions based on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be basic and simple. Questions that based on general awareness will also be of same standard.</p>



<p><strong>English Language:</strong> Examinees understanding capability of the basics of English Language, its grammar, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms sentence structure and its correct usage and writing ability would be monitored.</p>



<p><strong>General Intelligence and Reasoning:</strong> It would consists questions of non-verbal type. The test will be mostly about similarities and differences, problem solving, space visualization, judgment, analysis, decision making, discriminating observation, visual memory, figure classification, relationship concepts, non-verbal series, arithmetical number series,&nbsp; etc. The test will also contains questions formulated to test the candidates capability of dealing with abstract ideas and symbols, arithmetical computation and their relationship and other analytical functions.</p>



<p><strong>Numerical Aptitude:</strong> This paper will consists of questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Ratio and Time, Time and Distance,&nbsp; Time and Work, etc.</p>



<p><strong>General Awareness:</strong> These questions are mainly framed to test the ability of the examinees general awareness towards the environment around him and its application to surroundings. Questions will also be framed to test knowledge of current affairs and that matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific approach as may be expected of an common educated person. The test will also consists of questions relating to India and its neighbor countries especially pertaining to Culture, Sports, History, Geography, General Polity, Economic scene and Scientific Research including Indian Constitution, etc. <strong>Paper-II:</strong> The Paper will have a set in English, Hindi and in other languages that is mentioned in the Annexure-XIII, Schedule-VIII of the Constitution. This is mainly to test basic language skills matches with the educational qualification prescribed for the post.
