Eligibility Criteria for SSCSR Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

1. Technical Superintendent -i. Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology from a recognized University/Institute;. ii. Three years experience in the technical aspects of handloom and in the implementation of Handlooms (Reservation of Articles for Production) Act, 1985 in a handloom/textile unit or organisation or in a Public Sector Undertaking or in an autonomous body or in any recognized institution
2. Workshop Superintendent -i. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. ii. Two years experience as a Foreman in a Handloom/Powerloom Manufacturing Unit/Textile Mill.
3. Senior Instructor (Weaving) -i) Degree in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. ii) Two years practical experience as an Instructor in handloom or textile weaving in Textile Institute or in a handloom production unit. (OR) i) Three years Diploma in Textile Technology or Diploma in Handloom Technology or Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology from a recognized University or Institute. ii) Four years practical experience as an Instructor in Handloom or Textile Weaving in a Textile Insitute or in a Handloom Production Unit.
4. Medical Attendant -i) 10th Pass from a recognized Board; and ii) Certificate in First Aid from Central Government or State Government recognised Institutions.
5. Lady Medical Attendant -i) Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board; and ii) Certificate in First Aid from Central Government or State Government recognised Institution.
6. Conservation Assistant -i) Minimum 10th pass from a recognized Board. ; ii) Diploma in Civil Engineering of minimum three years duration from a recognized Institute.
7. Junior Conservation Assistant -i) Minimum 10th pass from a recognized Board. ; ii) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in subjects relating to Civil Engineering. Note 1 : On appointment, the candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete prescribed in-service Training in Conservation during their probation period to become eligible for further promotion
8. Evaluation Assistant -i) Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Sociology or Social Work from a recognized University or Institute.; ii) Knowledge of Tamil Language

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not (For Post 1, 2, 3 – 30 Years), be between (For Post 4, 5, 6, 7 – 18 to 25 Years), (For Post 8 – 18 to 27 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
