UGC NET Admit Card Nov 2017 / ADMISSION CARD FOR NET NOVEMBER, 2017  : It may be noted that the UGC NET Admit Card Nov 2017 /admission card will be uploaded on the website www.cbsenet.nic.in in the third week of October, 2017 by Cental Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE). No admission cards will be sent to the candidates by post. The candidates should download their admission cards from the website to ascertain their venue of the Test as mentioned in the Admission Card and appear in the examination only at the designated examination center. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center other than that allotted to him/her in the admission card.

How to Download UGC NET admit card 2017

  • Go to the official link and click on tab titled ‘Download the Admit Card’ for November session of UGC NET 2017
  • Admit Card of UGC NET November session 2017 page will open
  • Enter the Application Number, Password and Date of Birth and click on ‘Submit’ button
  • UGC NET Admit card 2017 for November session will appear on the screen
  • Click on the ‘Download’ button
  • Save the file and take a print out of the same
  • Keep the UGC NET 2017 Admit Card for future reference

Carry photo identity along with UGC NET Admit Card 2017

Candidates have to bring any of the below valid photo identity for examination. Candidates will not be allowed to enter examination hall without having valid photo identity

UGC NET 2017 exam detail: UGC NET 2017 November session exam is scheduled to be held on November 5 at various centres across India. The paper based exam will have three papers – I, II & III and it is mandatory for candidates to appear in all papers. The important information pertaining to UGC NET 2017 exam schedule is given below.

(i) Paper-I= shall have 50 questions each worth 2 marks. Total marks for this section will be 100. The paper will be intended to assess candidate’s teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, divergent thinking and general awareness.

(ii) Paper-II= will have 50 objective type questions ( 2 marks each) based on the subject that the candidate selects.

(iii) Paper-III= will comprise of 75 multiple choice questions ( 2 marks each). Total marks for this section will be 150.

All the questions of Paper II and Paper III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus provided on the website. The candidate will have to indicate their responses for questions of Paper I, Paper – II and Paper III by shading the circles on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet dark. The same has to be done using only BLACK BALL POINT PEN.

Instruction to UGC NET Nov 2017 Exam candidates

  • The candidates must obtain two prints of the admit card for safety purpose.
  • The applicants should carry their UGC NET Admit Cards Nov 2017 before entering the examination hall.
  • The candidates do not need to carry any stationary with them. The centre will provide the candidates Black Ball Points for the exam.
  • The candidates must avoid carrying any extra bags, electronic gadgets, valuable items, calculators etc.

Candidates need to score minimum 55% Pass Marks in Master’s Degree to be eligible for University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET). Students in Final Year of Post Graduate Degree Programs can apply if they feel that they’ll have a minimum aggregate of 55% or more.

This year onwards, UGC NET exam will be conducted only once in a year instead of twice. Also, this time CBSE has made it mandatory for the candidates to furnish Aadhaar Card details at the time of online registration excluding candidates of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya, who can furnish their passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid Govt.
